OAKLAND — It’s not every day you see someone enter a different dimension before your eyes. Eric “Sleepy” Floyd did it Sunday.

It happened late in the third quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers. He entered a world beyond space and beyond time and even beyond Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The other players vanished. The floor vanished. The city of Oakland vanished. There was just Floyd and his personal basketball and his personal basket.
