Before the Golden State Warriors face the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, a Grammy-winning Bay Area native will sing the national anthem.
Pat Monahan, the lead singer of Train, will return to his native Oakland on Thursday night to kick off the start of the series, the NBA announced on Wednesday. The game tips off at 6 p.m. PDT.
Train is currently on a North American tour with O.A.R. and Natasha Bedingfield. The "Play That Song" tour touches down at Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View on July 8.
