Nuggets' DeMarcus Cousins could not stop thinking about Gary Payton II's game-winning shot after Game 5 loss to Warriors

Denver Nuggets center DeMarcus Cousins was understandably disappointed that the Golden State Warriors eliminated his team from the NBA playoffs on Wednesday, but the way their season ended really stuck with him.

Speaking with reporters after the 102-98 loss in Game 5, Cousins could only think of Gary Payton II’s clutch three-point shot late in the game. When asked about his future plans, the big man said, “I honestly don't know what the future holds. In this short time, a lot has transpired. I’m still trying to get over the fact that [Gary Payton II] hit that big shot, man.
