Post All-Star break, I was extremely excited to watch some Warriors basketball. Instead, I’ve been sitting around today, trying to recap this game. I’ll keep this one short. It’s the same game we’ve watched all year. That’s why the Warriors are now 29-30 and tied for the 9th seed.
This wasn’t really a 13 point loss. Yes, Patrick Baldwin Jr.’s 11-point fourth-quarter flurry cut the lead down. But it didn’t feel close to that for most of the second half. The Dubs were largely dominated on both halves of the court. Without Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins, the shooting was exceptionally poor.
