Fans, observers and the NBA community barely had time to digest the fact that Stephen Curry was going to miss playing time after suffering an injury to his left hand during a game against Phoenix on Wednesday night.
On Friday came another bombshell. The Warriors announced that Curry had surgery to repair his left hand and will be reevaluated in three months. He could miss 45 games.
Dr. Steven Shin — who performed surgery on Steph Curry's left hand — also did procedure on Drew Brees' broken thumb. For Curry, significant part of return depends on ability to take hit on hand and not re-injure it.
