HOUSTON — Rockets guard Chris Paul will not play in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors on Monday because of a strained right hamstring.
“Everyone came to a set conclusion that there’s no way,” Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said.
The Rockets did not rule Paul out until an hour and 45 minutes before tipoff. Yet, the Rockets anticipated Paul sitting out for the second consecutive playoff game after not testing his hamstring until on Monday.
