Hours before a critical Game 6 in Los Angeles against the Warriors, the Lakers posted a strange and depressing video that Pau Gasol appeared to film in a Best Western conference room.
The video, posted to the Lakers Twitter account, features Gasol — who won two titles with the Lakers playing alongside Kobe Bryant — standing in front of a striped taupe curtain and cutting a low-energy, echoey hit.
Gasol is wearing no Lakers gear in the shot, which mercifully only lasts eight seconds.
“I know firsthand how much you guys help a player on the court,” Gasol said.
