LOS ANGELES — Stephen Curry has been writing on his shoes since college.
Every game since he was at Davidson, you could find Curry’s initials — WSC — and a reference to the Bible verse Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” — scribbled on his kicks in permanent marker.
The verse is an homage to his mother and their shared faith. It’s also served as a grounding motto to the two-time MVP.
But on Easter Sunday, for the Warriors’ 113-15 win over the Clippers, Curry added a new motto to his shoes.
