Stephen Curry was 5-of-17 for 15 points in the Golden State Warriors' 120-110 closeout win over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
During the two seasons Klay Thompson missed with a torn ACL and ruptured Achilles, the Warriors went 3-8 when Curry played and failed to get to 20 points. Over the same stretch, they were 16-53 when Curry didn't play.
Thanks to Klay, they had no such problems in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, as he provided a vivid reminder of how much he adds.
Golden State's ceiling is dramatically different when he's available.
