Kevin Durant leaves Game 5 after non-contact injury

Kevin Durant left the Golden State Warriors game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night after suffering what appeared to be a non-contact injury.

Durant pulled up for a baseline jumper, and landed without contact. As he started to run back down the court, he stopped and turned back, as though he had suddenly been kicked by someone, though he hadn’t. He then started limping, and immediately left the court.

He walked off on his own power, but went straight to the locker room.

On the broadcast, Reggie Miller was talking about how Durant’s reaction was in line with what happens during an Achilles tear.
