Russell Westbrook is the NBA’s current triple-double king. Stephen Curry is greatest three-point shooter of all time.
So who’s the better player?
Kevin Durant, former teammate of both, was asked that question on the latest episode of “How Hungry Are You?” a show in which Toronto Raptors power forward Serge Ibaka cooks unusual gourmet delicacies for athletes and celebrities.
Durant paused a moment and then said, “Steph Curry. Cuz he can shoot better.”
That is, of course, true, as Curry is a 48 percent career shooter and 44 percent beyond the arc. Westbrook shoots 43 percent from the field and an underwhelming 31 percent from three-point range.
