Kevin Durant picked up his 16th technical foul of the season Wednesday night, which normally equates to a one-game suspension.
But don’t worry -- the Warriors star won’t be banned from Game 1 of the Dubs’ first-round matchup against the LA Clippers.
The technical foul accumulation penalty resets in the playoffs, so everything starts fresh. KD knew what he was doing.
"I knew it starts over in the playoffs," Durant told reporters after the Warriors' loss in Memphis. "And I kind of figured [official Kane Fitzgerald] would rescind that one anyway, so I wasn't too nervous.
