SAN ANTONIO–So they’re on to Cleveland…
OK. Wait. No. Sorry, jumped the gun a tiny bit.
Officially, after Saturday’s 120-108 domination of the Spurs at the AT&T Center, the Warriors still have to beat the Spurs one more time to complete a sweep in the Western Conference exhibition round, err, I mean, finals.
And over in the East, yes, the Cavaliers are required to decimate Boston’s heart and soul two more times to set up the most anticipated NBA Finals rematch in history.
But you know and I know and the Warriors and the Cavaliers absolutely, definitely know that they are the league’s two giants, and everything up until they meet each other, starting June 1 in their third straight Finals meeting, is just biding their time.
