After a borderline hostile contract stalemate that seemingly turned most of the Warriors fan base against him, Jonathan Kuminga’s actions are speaking far louder than his words right now. The Warriors held their annual open practice on Thursday, with fans only paying $5 to attend. It’s typically a lighthearted affair with little actual practicing, but rather has Dubs players putting on goofy skits and singing karaoke while engaging directly with fans.
This year, new Warriors star Jimmy Butler did a duet of Shaboozey’s hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” with rookie LJ Cryer (both are from the greater Houston area), and rookie Alex Toohey went into the stands to belt out the well-known “Wonderwall” chorus.
