A short stint with Jordan Poole in Santa Cruz apparently left a major impression on Jeremy Lin. The former Knicks sensation, who was briefly on the Warriors' G-League affiliate in 2021, shouted out Poole after the young guard secured a four-year, $123 million extension over the weekend.
"Woke up to great news!" Lin wrote on Instagram on Sunday. "I dont normally comment on contracts, but this ones different. I went from scrimmaging against @jordan_poole in private Bay Area runs to becoming Gleague teammates to seeing him win a championship to a contract extension.
