At this point, every member of the Golden State Warriors is a super-duper star by default, with all of the adulation and scrutiny that entails. This featured prominently in my back-of-mind thoughts as the Warriors embarked on a highly successful tour of Japan that featured sumo wrestling, hedgehog cuddling (!), samurai swords, and two entertaining (and somewhat informative) basketball games. The cost of that fame is the reality that anything anyone on the Warriors does is going to be examined under a high-magnification microscope, with even small incidents or issues getting blown up in front of a global audience.
