A hobbled Jimmy Butler was instrumental in giving the Golden State Warriors a 109-106 playoff victory on Monday, along with a 3-1 series lead against the Rockets, and it was all thanks to Dillon Brooks.
After the final buzzer went off, TNT reporter Allie LaForce asked Butler how he was able to play nearly 40 minutes after he was listed as questionable to play Monday. The 35-year-old, who is still recovering from a pelvic contusion he suffered in Game 2, gave facetious kudos to the locally reviled Rockets player.
“Somebody said something to me,” Butler said.
