How LeBron James wanted to use Sonya Curry's strategy at Bronny's game

LeBron James' son, Bronny James, is a freshman at Sierra Canyon High School in Southern California.

On Saturday night, Bronny and the Trailblazers were in Columbus, Ohio to face off against St. Vincent-St. Mary -- LeBron's alma mater.

During a halftime interview, ESPN's Rachel Nichols asked LeBron about how surreal it is to be rooting against his high school.

"I told my wife I needed to do what Steph Curry's mom always does and get the half St. Vincent-St. Mary, half Sierra Canyon jersey for this game," he said jokingly.

When asked how he cheered on his son against his alma mater, LeBron brought up Sonya Curry.
