The Warriors lost Steph Curry to a rolled ankle in the first quarter of their victory over the Spurs on Thursday night. Golden State couldn’t beat the red-hot Blazers without him on Friday night, and Curry will be left home for Sunday’s trip to Minnesota as well.
Quinn Cook was forced into the starting lineup in Curry’s absence and scored 8 points with 0 assists while playing 30 minutes in Portland. Nick Young also saw an increase in playing time with 23 minutes against the Blazers, but he went 1/4 from the field and scored only three points.
