Golden State Warriors: Stephen Curry was first NBA player tested for COVID-19

The Golden State Warriors were scheduled to play the Brooklyn Nets at home in a game that would’ve changed the history of the NBA. Without fans, the Warriors-Nets game was postponed, but superstar Stephen Curry was likely sidelined anyway.

The NBA is now suspended.

That said, while initially many thought Rudy Gobert was the first player tested as his downplaying of the situation backfield and he became one of the few with the virus, according to SF Gate, it was Warriors’ Stephen Curry.

Curry was tested on March 10, prior to their game with the Philadelphia 76ers.
