Steve Kerr has told reporters that the Golden State Warriors are prepping for the event that Klay Thompson will not be returning this season. In doing so, the Warriors may see their title hopes come to an official end.
Though the Warriors have yet to open their season, the chances are slim this roster is capable of winning a championship without Klay Thompson. The addition of D’Angelo Russell was significant but a 23-year old is not going to replace the losses of both Thompson and Kevin Durant.
Thompson put everything on the line in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
