Golden State Warriors inspire boxer Andre Ward

OAKLAND -- Unbeaten as a boxer since he was 12 years old, Oakland's Andre Ward still searches for sources of inspiration. No one provides more to him right now than the Warriors.

Even during training camp in preparation for his light heavyweight debut Saturday at Oracle Arena against Cuban fighter Sullivan Barrera, Ward said coming home after a workout to watch the Warriors on TV is one of the few diversions he allows himself."At 32 years old, it's not that you're old but you've been doing it most of your life and you can get stale, you can get bored with the process," Ward said Tuesday after a light workout and media session at King's Gym in Oakland.
