It is widely assumed that this year’s NBA Finals will include the Golden State Warriors, the heavy favorites to make it out of the Western Conference for the fifth straight year. Even more so, the Warriors are expected to hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy once again for the three-peat.
But if this regular season has been any indication, this Golden State team is not the same as in the past, and this roster, in particular, has had some vulnerabilities and noticeable weaknesses when faced against opponents. The Western Conference, in particular, has given them trouble, as their conference record currently stands at 30-15 (just ahead of the Denver Nuggets).
