Golden State Warriors: Houston Rockets emerge as new foe

The Golden State Warriors went a perfect 12-0 in the playoffs before the NBA Finals. The Dubs took the stronger Western Conference and beat them up. They made it look easy.

For the last three years, the Warriors have owned the entire league, especially the West. They were dominant before Kevin Durant. Now you throw a top-three player in the world into the mix and they become nearly impossible to beat.

The Houston Rockets have gone all in on trying to keep up with them. Chris Paul agreed to opt-in to the last season of his contract and the Los Angeles Clippers will be trading him to the Texas team.
