There may not be a more unfortunate series of events to ever occur to an NBA franchise. The Golden State Warriors have been decimated in recent months.
Most recently, D’Angelo Russell was diagnosed with a sprained right thumb that will hold him for at least two weeks. The five-time Western Conference champions are plummetting off the face of the earth as countless injuries and free agency losses ravage the roster.
As we all know, this is one of many significant injuries to the Warriors’ core players. Within the last six months, players such as Kevin Durant, DeMarcus Cousins, Klay Thompson, Kevon Looney, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and now Russell have had some form of injury.
