The Los Angeles Lakers were officially eliminated from the NBA playoff chase this week, while the Golden State Warriors secured home court advantage in the first round and potentially the third-best record in the league.
And Dubs fans celebrated, naturally, by resurfacing a tweet from NBA reporter Shams Charania they’ve been holding onto for eight months:
“Bazemore turned down more money and years (two) from the Warriors, sources say, but believes he will have a bigger role and opportunity to win a championship with the Lakers. Bazemore is betting on himself,” Charania tweeted back in August after Kent Bazemore left Golden State for a 1-year deal with the Lakers.
