Golden State Warriors: A late-season Jamal Crawford reunion is possible

The Golden Stae Warriors are so close to the hard cap that they couldn’t add Jamal Crawford right now even if they wanted to. They’d have to shed a player like Alfonzo McKinnie, one of the only players not on a fully guaranteed contract.

However, later in the season, it becomes completely possible. The veteran’s minimum is a prorated contract. The Warriors wouldn’t need to pay him the full $2.3 million if they sign him in February or March.

Then, the reunion is easily feasible. And, the Warriors, who could use the help on their second unit, shouldn’t turn away Crawford.
