The Warriors have been publicly linked to Davis before — and would surely be interested, sources say — but it’s hard to find a realistic path ahead of next season.
However, that trade is much harder to craft than many think. Even theoretical trades are difficult for an elite talent like Davis. While every team should be interested in trading for Davis, not many have the sheer star power to trade away like Golden State.
