This past offseason, the Golden State Warriors added then All-Star point guard D’Angelo Russell. Russell didn’t make the game this season but continued to put up strong numbers throughout his time with the team.
Halfway through the season, Russell was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In return, the Wolves gave the Warriors Andrew Wiggins and their 2021 first-round pick. There were other players like Omari Spellman involved in the deal.
It was their best offer, and it was light years ahead of the offer the New York Knicks gave to Golden State.
