It seemed like a weird combination the first time the signing of Nick Young to the Golden State Warriors was announced last offseason. However, over time, we saw Young flourish, winning his first title with the Dubs last season.
Young didn’t play a huge role and might’ve actually played a far less impactful role than he hoped for. That’s not to downplay the impact that Young did have as one of the Dubs main second unit scoring options.
Albeit he did play under 18 minutes per game, Young made those minutes count. Per 36 minutes, Young averaged exactly 15 points.
