In a low-risk move, the Golden State Warriors added Marquese Chriss and waived Alfonzo McKinnie as the NBA’s deadline for 15-man rosters was coming due. Well, like many medications that aim to make you better, there could be adverse side effects.
The addition of Chriss should ultimately improve the Golden State Warriors, but there is a risk involved. After the preseason performance of Chriss, it was almost guaranteed that the team was going to sign him, especially considering current team members lobbied for his signing.
McKinnie spent all last season with the team after trying to find his place in the league for multiple seasons.
