After the Kevin Durant-Draymond Green altercation, it was obvious that eventually, the two might not be able to co-exist. It’s more about Green’s inability to help space the offense for the Golden State Warriors than him wearing his emotions on his sleeve.
Green’s hurt the Warriors offense this season because of how poor he has been from deep, shooting under 25% from downtown. This doesn’t have a quick fix either. Green must start being better from deep or he’ll become much easier to deal for Golden State.
While it’s unlikely the Warriors part ways with Green, he does have a bit more value than Klay Thompson given his contract structure.
