Jaylen Brown may have made Cal graduates proud and Warriors fans happy with his apparent poke at Kyrie Irving’s hypothesis that the world is flat.
The Celtics guard and former Golden Bears standout seemingly joked about his new Boston teammate’s famous flat-earth theory during an interview with reporters Tuesday.
Brown began by mentioning the talks he’s had with Irving, whom the Cavaliers recently traded to the Celtics.
“The conversations are great. Most of the time we don’t even talk basketball,” Brown said (per Chris Forsberg of ESPN) “There’s going to be numerous conversations. I’m interested in having the conversation whether the world is flat or round or what — so it’s going to be interesting year, I’ll tell you that.
