Draymond Green and Kevin Durant declined to speak with reporters after the Golden State Warriors were stunned Monday by a 31-point comeback by the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 2 of their playoff series, but Green’s mother was eager to share her thoughts on the loss. Mary Babers-Green used her Twitter account to rip Golden State – and liked and retweeted a number of other comments critical of Durant’s performance.
Babers-Green, who clearly had something to do with her son’s outspoken personality and has made news in the past for own blunt opinions on the Warriors, tweeted after Monday’s 135-131 defeat to Los Angeles that Golden State needed “to be punched in the throat!
