For as close as Draymond Green and Klay Thompson — two key members of the Golden State Warriors’ championship core — appear to be, it wasn’t until late last year that Green finally joined Thompson on his boat. And it wasn’t a planned lounging day on San Francisco Bay.
Green appeared on an episode of “7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero” that came out Thursday. While discussing how the Warriors, particularly Green, Thompson and Steph Curry, have maintained their chemistry as teammates, the Dubs forward shared the story about the first time he went on the second Splash Brother’s boat.
