There’s no drama like NBA player drama, and this week’s edition features Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors in one corner, and Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz in the other corner.
The two players, who have combined to win the last two Defensive Player of the Year trophies, went at each other with a little bit of trolling the last few days.
It started on Thursday, when the All-Star Game reserves were announced, and Gobert was left off. The 7-foot-1 center was on most media members’ mock ballots, and was openly hoping for the recognition of his first ever selection (as well as the $1 million contract incentive for making the team).
