Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green spoke publicly on Saturday for the first time since video leaked of him punching teammate Jordan Poole at practice surfaced on TMZ. In a short statement he gave before taking questions from the press, Green took sole responsibility for the embarrassment the ordeal had caused and announced he would be taking time away from the team.
“No. 1, I was wrong for my actions that took place,” said Green. “For that, I have apologized to my team, I have apologized to Jordan.”
