In an interview with ESPN's Rachel Nichols that aired prior to Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green gave some additional insight into his highly publicized locker room argument with Kevin Durant.
The November scuffle reportedly centered around Durant's impending free agency. Green pushed back on this narrative in his interview with Nichols.
"It wasn't necessarily that him being a free agent bothered [me]," he said. "We all go through that in this profession. It was more so the fact of, 'Are you with us or not?
