When Draymond Green and Kevin Durant got into an altercation following a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers more than a month ago, some thought it marked the beginning of the end for the Golden State Warriors.
But that doesn’t appear to be the case. It took some time, and things certainly appeared to be fragile for a while, but lately the rift seems to be entirely in the past. And, according to the players, it was never going to bring down the team.
ESPN’s Nick Friedell wrote a stellar report of the situation, and talked to a number of people inside the organization, including both Green and Durant.
