Draymond Green leaves the game with an ankle sprain

Draymond Green left Saturday’s game between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets after spraining his ankle.

In the fourth quarter of the game, Green stepped on the foot of teammate DeMarcus Cousins. Immediately after doing so, the former Defensive Player of the Year fell to the ground in pain and grabbed his foot. After being helped to his feet, he limped to the locker room.

The team quickly announced that it was an ankle sprain.

The injury is more than a little concerning, because Green didn’t appear to roll his ankle at all.
