A buddy comedy set in the world of the Golden State Warriors? Hollywood producer Dan Fogelman thought it was a slam dunk.
But the show never made it to the air and that failure just might have paved the way for the biggest hit of Fogelman’s career — “This Is Us.”
Speaking on “The Bill Simmons Podcast” earlier this week, Fogelman, who created “This Is Us,” recalled how he made a series pilot for ABC with the Warriors just as the team was “rising to prominence.
