OAKLAND – David West finally talked about his cyst on Friday, but he didn’t say much.
“It was just an infection,” West said. “We got it taken care of.”
West has been sidelined the last five games because of a cyst on his right arm. He saw a dermatologist in the Bay Area on Sunday and will play Friday against the Sacramento Kings.
He spoke to reporters about the ailment Friday morning after shootaround, but was pretty tight-lipped about what he went through.
When asked how it happened, he responded, “Just going to play, man.
