D’Angelo Russell is cleared to play

D’Angelo Russell is back. The All-Star guard has been cleared to play in tonight’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Russell hasn’t played since November 1, when he sprained his ankle in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs. He’s missed the last three games, in which the Warriors have gone 1-2.

But now he’s back.

D’Angelo Russell is good to go tonight, giving the Warriors 10 players. Even one more player means different substitution options and distribution of minutes when some guys have been playing 37, 38, 39.
