Point guard Stephen Curry and the Warriors’ fans were included in the NBA’s new “This Is Why We Play” campaign, which was released Monday morning and was designed to capture the emotions behind basketbal’s universal appeal.
The last two images in the one-minute video are Curry celebrating the 2015 championship and the fans roaring during the playoffs at Oracle Arena. The first spot, “Anthem,” will on air on TV on Wednesday.
Also included in the video are current players Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, DeMar DeRozan, Dwyane Wade, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Luol Deng, Satnam Singh Bhamara and Zach LaVine, legends Jason Collins, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Willis Reed and Yao Ming and coaches Becky Hammon and Doc Rivers.
