CLEVELAND - Remember, they are the reigning NBA champions. They won 51 regular-season games and breezed through the Eastern Conference playoffs, Warriors-like.

And now the Cavaliers find themselves scrambling for solutions, as if they’re a minor-league outfit suddenly playing against the big boys.

The chatter around Cleveland ranges from hopelessness to longshot suggestions heading into Game 3 on Wednesday night. Maybe they should bench J.R. Smith and put Iman Shumpert in the starting lineup. Maybe they should slow down the pace.

Or, hey, maybe they could bring Bingo Smith and Hot Rod Williams out of retirement!
