“Hoopers can be rappers too.”
That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw a song leaked featuring LeBron James and Kevin Durant Friday afternoon.
The track, titled, “It Ain’t Easy,” which the two recorded during the 2011 NBA lockout, features Durant, then an Oklahoma City Thunder, defending James, who’d just lost in the Finals to the Dallas Mavericks.
Now, the music business isn’t new for Durant. The forward has had a big hand in a lot of rappers’ careers, including childhood friend Dave East, whom Durant also cut a track with during the 2011 lockout.
