If the Golden State Warriors are going to win Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets, they’re going to have to dig deep into their rotation, and get production from unexpected places. Starting shooting guard Brandin Podziemski was initially listed as questionable to play in the game due to an illness, and was a game-time decision.
After warming up, Podziemski decided to give it a go, while coach Steve Kerr said that the second-year lefty was dealing with a stomach bug. Podziemski looked a little physically compromised in the first quarter, and looked very ill while sitting on the bench in the early going.
