Like many Bay Area residents, the San Rafael Pacifics are part of Dub Nation.
So the North Bay baseball club announced a cancellation of their June 7 game Tuesday to allow Warriors fans to follow Golden State in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Or, as the independent club termed it, “to help Pacifics fans celebrate the Warriors success” as the team faces either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Boston Celtic in its third straight appearance in the title round.
The Pacifics will then hold what it called a “unique” doubleheader on Sunday, July 2, just before Independence Day.
