Over the last 5 seasons, including this one, the Warriors are a mediocre 2 losses and 3 wins on Christmas. Last night, the Warriors weren’t mediocre. They were awful. Seeing Lakers fans hoorahing in your crib like it was the 80’s or 90’s is the NBA equivalent of coal in your stocking for Warriors fans. The Lakers, even without Lebron James playing most of the second half, dominated the Warriors in just about every way. They outshot, outrebounded, outfastbreaked, and outscored in the paint the Warriors. Though the Warriors made one run in the 3rd quarter to bring the game to within 2 points, the Lakers played with more intensity and urgency, and they did not panic or fall apart when James left the game with eight minutes left in the 3rd quarter with a strained groin.
Another Miss: Lakers 127, Warriors 101
