Andrew Wiggins is coming back to the Warriors.
The 28-year-old forward “is expected to be back early this week” following a 22-game absence, according to an ESPN report. He’s been away from the team since Feb. 14 dealing with an unspecified personal matter. This news follows rumblings that Wiggins was already back in the Bay Area.
There is never a bad time to bring back an All-Star talent to a roster trying to repeat as champions, but with the play-in and playoffs right around the corner, nearly any version of Wiggins would be helpful.
